HZY is a family workshop that uses natural, organic herbs in a traditional fermentation process to make gentle products that are easily absorbed by our bodies. Our goal is to use our traditions to reharmonize human beings with nature so that we, and our environment, clean be healthy and clean.
Brand Story
As a child, Jing even had an idea for how the design of her new shampoo should look. She drew the logo right on her shampoo bottle. Her brothers saw her design and made fun of her, but she was already too passionate to care about their jokes. She never gave up and began to study traditional Chinese herbalism for healthy skin and hair.
She drew the logo and name by hand. When the brothers picked up her shampoo and saw a girl with long hair painted on the bottle, they couldn't help but laugh and read the name of the shampoo. Even being laughed at didn't make her give up. She constantly explores how to make her hair healthy and shiny and usually pays attention to collecting knowledge of traditional Chinese herbs and traditional hair and skin care experience and common sense.
In college, Jing found herself living in a world full of chemicals that caused environmental pollution and health risks. Her passion led her to start investigating the ingredients of everyday products. She would even try to get public opinion about products when she was at a supermarket or mall.
Jing was suffering from dry and sensitive skin herself and she did not have access to healthy, natural products to use. She never forgot her childhood dream to create all natural products, and she was finally ready to fulfill that dream. She graduated from college with a master’s degree, and after many experiments, she finally made the products that satisfied her childhood passion.
After learning the methods to create high-quality, all natural products, Jing needed to register her brand name. She decided to call it Huazhiyuan, which means: to make products with the essential elements of flowers and herbs. Yuan can also refer to God who provides vitality and represents the most fundamental, internal, powerful meanings of existence. God has given us these traditional ways and meanings. When we use them with a pure and kind mind, we can access God’s powerful energy and benefit human beings and the world.
